Sacramental programme in KS1
The children in Year 2 who received the Sacrament of Reconciliation on Saturday 21st March at Sacred Heart Church are now preparing to receive their First Eucharist.
Our Sacramental programme continues today, Tuesday 21st April from 3pm till 3.45pm. There are eight after school Tuesday classes which finish on Tuesday 16th June. Please take note that the finishing time is 3.45pm and we ask that you collect your children promptly.
Green Class children will receive the Sacrament of the Eucharist for the first time on Saturday 20th June 2015 during a special Mass at 12 midday.
Orange Class children on Saturday 27th June 2015, also at a special Mass at 12 midday.
The final meeting for parents and carers is on Wednesday 13th May at 6.30pm at Sacred Heart Church. Each child must have a parent/carer attending this meeting which will be led by Father Victor.
The First Eucharist for our children also has meaning for the whole community. We smile at the children in their first Communion finery-not just because they look adorable, but because they are joining us at our family table: the table of God’s family.
