Year 1 @ the Barbican

Year 1 attended a concert at the Barbican Centre, to watch the London Symphony Orchestra's performance of 'Sir Scallyway and the Golden Underpants'.

The children were privileged to work with Animateur Paul Rissmann.  


As part of the concert the children had the opportunity to participate with some of the songs. During their music lessons the children had been working hard on learning the different songs ready for the concert. They learnt how to sing in unison and in parts.  They were really excited to see the orchestra and listened to some famous classical pieces before the start of their performance.
