Disabled Access and Parking

Disabled Access and Parking statement:

• St Josephs has two car parks and a space at the front of the building for one car to park.  This car park space is a priority space and has flat level access to the school entrance.  Staff will assist any driver with a disability when parking and entering the building. 
• There is a disabled toilet by the school office that is wheel chair accessible.
• There is appropriate lighting on the stair wells as well as safety lighting
• Staff have been fully trained in how to react  for a fire evacuation procedure and fire marshalls are trained to ensure the evacuation of the building
• Guide dogs are welcome
• There is a lift centrally placed within the school hall to access almost all areas of the school
• We ensure the website fully accessible with a translation service and consistent navigation
